All students considering any music major or minor should register for the following course as an introduction to the major: MCTH104, Basics of Music (3 credit hours AC in the General Education program). The Theory Placement Test is given during the Summer and at the beginning of each semester for students who may already qualify to pass out of this level. The Music Students’ Handbook contains further information and specific requirements for students of music. At least one half of the required semester hours of music credits for the B.A., and 30 semester hours of music for the BMEd or BM in Liturgical Music must be taken at Aquinas College for the music major. All music majors must have a grade of B- or better in all MCAP courses.

I am considering applying to your school. Please contact me with further information about your programs. Thank you.
