Following on the success of last fall’s “Conducting Brahms” workshop, Maestros Gustav Meier and Mark Gibson will invite up to six participants and up to six apprentices to work on the orchestral repertoire of Tchaikovsky. All participants will work with the CCM Philharmonia and Concert Orchestras, and all sessions will be video documented. A Friday morning session will provide an opportunity for participants to work with two pianos in preparation for the orchestra sessions. Apprentices will work with the CCM Concert Orchestra for one three-hour session.

2:30-5:30pm  Apprentices conduct Concert Orchestra

Tuition: Participants $2,000
Apprentices $1,000
Housing stipends will be provided.

Deadline: Applications must be received by September 19th, 2008.  All           
                applicants will be notified by September 26th of their status.  Half of 
                the tuition fee will be due by October 1st in order to secure placement 
                in the workshop.
