Vivace String Camp invites string players ages 10-18 for eight days on the beautiful Houghton College campus. They receive instruction in orchestra, chamber music, instrument techniques. Daily Special Sessions introduce them to various art disciplines and evening artist recitals, talent show, and their final festival performances enrich their musical experience. Vivace brings talented artist/teachers from the northeast, featuring the Attacca Quartet as resident artists. In addition to a busy musical schedule students spend a day at Roseland Water Park and have daily recreational activities including swimming, soccer and arts and crafts.
