The application fee is required of all applicants except for returning fellowship recipients, Advanced Quartet Studies, and Aspen Contemporary Ensemble applicants. It is non-refundable and not applicable toward other AMFS fees. The application fee is determined by the postmarked date of the application according to the schedule below.

  • December 2 $55
  • December 22 $80
  • After December 22 $100

All fees are payable in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. correspondent bank only. Foreign students should obtain an International Money Order in U.S. dollars for the payment of fees. All checks must be payable to the Aspen Music Festival and School.

Applicants living outside the United States are required to send an additional $60 (foreign mailing fee) with the application fee to cover shipping costs. The fee is refunded if the applicant is not admitted.

All foreign correspondence concerning acceptance status will be mailed via an international express mail company.
