Personal Statement
Hello, I'm Karin. I graduated both from The Juilliard School and the Curtis Institute of Music. I've been singing professionally in the United States and around the world for more than 15 years. I love singing and I love to teach other people to sing. I remember when I started to sing how I looked forward every week to my voice lesson. I want my students to have the same great feeling when they come in!
Education / Training
I started out going to an arts high school in San Francisco majoring in voice as well as the Prep department in the San Francisco Conservatory where I studied both Voice and Piano. I was then accepted to the Juilliard School where I received my B.M. in voice. I got my M.M from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. I went on to sing in the Young Artist Program at the Pittsburgh Opera where I sang and covered many roles on the main stage as well as sang leading roles in the program's production. The following years I spent singing in the Sates as well as in my native country of Israel. In Israel I sang with the Israeli Opera as well as with leading orchestras across the country.
