Personal Statement
My name is JJ Flynn and I have been playing music since 1973. At 6 years old I started with the harmonica, 7- School Choir, 9- Started on Guitar, 12- Piano, 18- Bass Guitar, 21- Organ, 28- Mandolin, 36- Dobro, 39- Accordion, 40- Fiddle, 41- Ukulele, 42- Baritone Ukulele & Dulcimer. As well as many different styles and genres in different instruments such as: Rock, Jazz, Celtic, Folk, Traditional and Blues! I have been Teaching since 1992 beginning with Guitar but adding Piano, Ukulele, Baritone Ukulele, Mandolin and Dulcimer in the last few years! My Lessons are about a music theory foundation to further the students potential of learning. I firmly believe that everyone can be taught to play an instrument. Having a musical or artistic background is not a prerequisite to learning an instrument. Just bring the motivation to every lesson and every practice!
