Personal Statement
Music helps each of us to enjoy our lives more fully. Each of us has our own feelings about music and its role in our lives. I enjoy fostering that relationship between my students and music, in a way that is tailored to the student's needs and wants.
I have been teaching students to play stringed instruments for the last 8 years. My students come from a range of backgrounds and have included young children through adults. Whether my students want to get started and try out the instrument, refine their skills and broaden their repertoire, or simply have fun with music, I enjoy providing them with the tools necessary to establish those musical goals, and to maintain them.
