Personal Statement
Have you ever noticed your voice getting tired or sore when you sing? In our lessons, we will work at increasing your awareness of the physical tensions that force you to work harder than necessary. Over time, as you learn to eliminate these by using your body’s natural support systems as you sing, you will find that your voice strengthens and singing becomes easier. Not only that, but we will also have a lot of fun each week, experimenting with all the unique and interesting things that your voice can do! No matter what genre of music you plan to sing, learning a healthy technique will help you do it longer and more flexibly.
