Personal Statement
My decades of learning music through different methodologies (some tried and true, and some through personal experimentation) have guided me to create positive, healthy and enjoyable learning environments for my students. Whatever your age, level or background, I believe that you can play for the first time, or for the first time in years, with great ease.

I have special knowledge in healing physical injury caused by playing an instrument, and therefore give special attention to my student's posture, alignment and poise as I guide you to learn style and technique. I look forward to sharing this knowledge with you.

I believe:

• Everyone has a personal learning style, and therefore I am flexible and creative to meet your individual learning needs.
• Music is what is heard- not what is on the paper.
• The quality of the instrument comes second to the state of the body and mind of the musician for the production of wonderful music.

I am considering taking lessons. Please contact me with further information. Thank you.
