Personal Statement
Brent Vaartstra is an experienced guitar teacher dedicated to teaching students of all ages, levels, and interests. He has taught at institutions such as the Arts West School for Performing Arts, Harmony Road Music School, and the St. Cecilia Music School.

He teaches private students out of his home studio in Manhattan, travels to students' homes, and also teaches through Skype. Lessons are geared towards the individual student's interests and goals. Emphasis is placed on the student's growth as a musician in addition to advancement as a guitar player. Brent has taught levels beginner through advanced and has addressed many different styles of music.
