Personal Statement
Potential student and/or parent,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my page! I am more than willing to answer any questions you may have about myself if my brief personal statement is not sufficient! Please contact me at

I am currently studying music education at Central Michigan University. My main instrument of expertise is the oboe. I also have much experience with flute and alto saxophone. In addition, if tutoring in music theory or ear training is needed, I have passed theory 1-4 as well as ear training 1-4, which covers all of the requirements for my music education degree. Tutoring rates will be slightly less than instrumental lessons.

I have passed my 300 level jury, which means I have satisfied my degree's requirements for oboe proficiency. I also make custom hand-made reeds that can give students quite the edge. I have had several middle school and highschool aged students over the past several years, and teaching is my passion.

Again, if you have any more questions, feel free to contact me any time at the above email address.

I am considering taking lessons. Please contact me with further information. Thank you.
