*Graduate of South Medford High School. (Award winning guitarist in Jazz program, member of wind ensemble and marching band).

*Received awards and scholarships while attending University Of Oregon.

Summer Jazz Camp and Britt Festivals Summer Jazz Camp for four consecutive years.

*Have taken private guitar lessons from various instructors over an eight-year period.
