Personal Statement
 
Singing builds confidence and discipline and is an emotional outlet like no other.

I can help you build all of these skills, with solid vocal technique and physical exercises.

I teach a solid classically based technique applicable to all ages and styles, and most importantly lessons which are centered around your needs and hopes.
 
Education / Training
 
A student of the renowned Soprano Maureen O'Flynn, Mara holds a BM in vocal performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and an MA in music and Music Education from Teachers College Columbia University. In addition to her work as a teacher, she performs widely throughout the tr-state area.
