Instruments Taught: Mandolin; Mandola; Octave Mandolin; Five-String Banjo; Tenor Banjo (regular and Irish tuning); Guitar (fingerpicking or flatpicking); Scottish and Irish Fiddle; Viola; Cello; Bass; Flute (baroque and Irish); Native American Flute; Penny Whistle; Recorders (soprano, alto, tenor and bass); Mountain Dulcimer; Hammered Dulcimer; Ukulele; Harp.

Private lessons are held in a studio on a weekly basis. Lessons are $15 for a half hour or $20 for an hour.

Experience: Jerry has played in the NMSU Orchestra, UNM Orchestra, New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, UNM Early Music Ensemble, five different Renaissance Faires, and school performances for the Mimbres Valley Arts Council. He has also recorded with various jazz, rock, and Celtic groups. Jerry has taught for 52 years. He began playing drums at the age of 16 professionally.
