Personal Statement
I have been teaching guitar (my main instrument), electric bass, keyboards, composition/songwriting/arranging, reading successfully for over 30 years. My students are all ages, play all styles, and are at all levels of ability.

I am expert at relaxing my students while giving them a solid music education. Lessons are serious fun.

I know thousands of tunes, and specialize in teaching repertoire.

I have been active for many years as a performing guitarist/composer leading groups and accompanying top vocalists and instrumentalists in the jazz and pop fields. I can provide career counseling to those who want it. Googling my name will turn up many sites where my playing and composing may be heard.

Skype lessons are possible.

I will teach anyone who wants to learn, and will turn no serious student away.

I can be reached at (646)355-7026 or
