Most of my teaching involves guiding students on how to practice at home. Practice is not just about playing through exercises and pieces several times. During the lesson I show students how to properly warm-up, do technical exercises, isolate difficult passages, and start to learn new pieces.
Education / Training
I received my Bachelor's of Music Performance in 2006 and my Master's of Music Performance in 2008. Both degrees are from Michigan State University where I studied with Robert Dan.

Shenandoah Conservatory is a performing arts community located near Washington DC with a comprehensive unit of 750 students and 120 faculty in music, theater and dance. In 2008-09, resident and visiting artists include the Audubon Quartet, pianist John O'Conor and trumpet artist Jens Lindemann.
