Personal Statement
Bob holds a Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University where he majored in learning psychology. He attended Mannes School of Music where he studied with Joseph Raieff and completed training there in piano performance, theory and harmony. He has taught piano for over 50 years and currently has a studio in Mercer Island as well as a studio in Snoqualmie, Wa. Bob is a National and WA State Certified Teacher of Music in Piano. His students have achieved awards from the Carnegie Hall Music Achievement Program, the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the Seattle International Piano Competition. He has conducted classes and workshops for piano teachers in the Seattle area. He is an award winning banquet pianist and has performed at venues throughout the Seattle area including Salish Lodge, Snoqualmie Ridge Golf. He served as banquet pianist for the Boeing Corporation, Columbia Bank and the Washington Mutual Bank. His honors include Founding Teacher in the Carnegie Hall Music Royal Conservatory Music Development Program.
