Personal Statement
I have a Masters degree in vocal performance/vocal pedagogy from Peabody Conservatory of Music, and over ten years of experience teaching voice and piano to ages ranging from 5 years old to 75 years old. The student always come first with me; I offer flexible lessons times, an online-viewable schedule, a quiet studio (no hearing other students practice next door!), and other invaluable expertise including resume building, monologues, music theory, sight singing, accent reduction, etc.
I really enjoy spreading the love and passion I have for music to others. Knowledge and skills are a prerequisite for good music making, but what I strive to accomplish with my students is strengthening their own point of view while building both their curiosity and confidence in their own creation of art.
