Personal Statement

I teach all levels of violin and viola. I love sharing my knowledge of the instrument with my students, and treat each one as an individual. I give different pieces to students based on what I think will benefit them the most at their level. Students stay with me for years and I continue my relationships with them even after they have graduated. I play with Opera Philadelphia, and am a substitute violist with the PA Ballet, the Philly Pops and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. I am the founding member of the Arioso Quartet. Presently on the faculty of Lincoln University, adjunct faculty at Swarthmore, Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges.
