Personal Statement
Dr. Laura Broughton believes that music should always be FUN and rewarding! She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, with experience teaching private piano lessons to all ages from age 4 to senior adult, and skill level from beginner to advanced. Voice students from teenage through senior adult are accepted.
She teaches in her studio, which is located in a comfortable and attractive setting in Hattiesburg, MS, convenient to Lamar, Forrest, Marion, and Jones Counties. She also teaches through the internet. She holds Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees.
A number of her students have won significant scholarships based on their musical achievement and skills.
