Personal Statement
With over 30 years of experience as a Concert Artist and Teacher, I have taught, mentored and coached countless students who have developed a passion for classical music through their piano studies. Some have gone on to pursue careers in music, while others have simply acquired a lifelong avocation to complement other paths.
My teaching incorporates music theory and music history, ear training, technique, musicianship skills, performance psychology, interpretation and analysis, performance practice, repertoire development and career guidance. My students have excelled in local, national and international competitions, and have appeared with orchestras, in Carnegie Hall and on public radio and television.
