Personal Statement
One always tries to elicit the best from their students. Every approach is different, and one must be an insightful pschologist. Of course, there's no susbstitute for hard work, critical listening, etc. but the passion for the music and the process have to be there if an individual is to grow and thrive. As teachers it's our job to inspire our students, and that's always a challenge. We both learn from one another, experience nothwithstanding.
