Personal Statement

I feel it is my job to instill a love of music with every student. Music is the heart of the soul. I wish through my teaching to cultivate the passion for music in each person that has the desire to learn. Taking music should not be just another activity to add to an already busy schedule. It should be a process that is understood to take time and effort. It is a lifelong journey that reaps numerous rewards and opens many doors. No matter what differences are encountered among people, all can relate and connect through the language of music.
