Personal Statement
Twice the winner of Harrisburg Magazine's "Simply the Best" and six times the winner of the magazine's "Readers' Choice", I have played professionally for 35 years and taught private lessons for 15 years.

It is the student's job to learn and the teacher's job to make learning easy! Lessons are tailored to each student, taking into account personality, age, ability, learning style, and goals.

Students receive a thorough grounding in reading music (both on the grand staff and on lead sheets), theory, and improvisation. Various method books are employed, together with my own materials.

I want my students to be excited about playing music!
Education / Training
I have a B.A. from Hood College and have been a professional musician for 35 years.

I am considering taking lessons. Please contact me with further information. Thank you.
