Personal Statement
My principal teachers were Philip Farkas, Thomas Beversdorf, Michael Hoeltzel and Chris Leuba. I received my education at Indiana University and the Mozarteum Academie in Salzburg Austria. I've taught at Western Washington University and Pacific Lutheran University, and have played professionally for nearly 40 years, in both Germany and the US. Using realistic goals, my teaching style weighs heavily on encouraging the individual to achieve their personal best and helping students find their unique voice on the instrument, while focusing on development of key skills necessary to master the instrument, e.g. mental focus and technique.

I am considering taking lessons. Please contact me with further information. Thank you.
