Personal Statement
Dave is a product of the North Texas State University’s Lab-Band Program. While there he was placed in the top 3 bands throughout his four years. He studied with John Giordano(conductor of the Ft. Worth Symphony) and Ellie Apere’ from the World Saxophone Congress of Belgium. In the past 35 years he has performed with numerous big bands including Stan Kenton, Guy Lombardo, The Miller Band, both Dorsey’s, Woody Herman ,mo-town groups such as the Spinners and O’jays, along with vocalists such as Dionne Warwick and has appeared on several PBS specials featuring the Stars of the Lawrence Welk Show. Currently free-lancing in the Chicago-land area. Dave is active in his community, married with four adult children.
