I am a professional musician in the Cleveland area, having played for the Cleveland Ballet, Opera Cleveland and many other chamber groups. Teaching is a joy. Passing on the information that my teachers so patiently gave to me is a privilege.
Playing the bassoon is difficult. Students need help with the cross fingerings, the reeds and the care of the instrument. Most band and orchestra directors didn't spend a lot of time studying this instrument in college. That's where a professional player can come in and mean the difference between success and quitting the instrument.
