Personal Statement
Professional violinist and dedicated teacher, offering private weekly lessons in my studio in Monroe, NY. I teach ages 7 and up, to all levels. I teach a well balanced curriculum of exciting classical repertoire, sight-reading, scales and technique, as well as fun fiddle tunes learned by ear.

Bio: Rachel Crozier has been a dedicated teacher for over 15 years, working with as many as 30 students weekly. She gives lessons to students of all ages, from the earliest beginner through the advanced repertoire.

As an orchestral musician, Rachel has performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Esopus Chamber Orchestra, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Hudson Opera Theater, and the Taconic Opera. She serves as concertmaster of the Delaware Valley Opera. She performs with the Amaranthus Ensemble, and enjoys performing as a chamber musician and recitalist throughout the region. Rachel performed from 2006-2008 with Chamber Music Charleston, where she was a member of the Artistic Committee.

Rachel began playing the violin at the age of eight after begging to play the cello for two years. She quickly fell in love with the violin. She was enrolled in Temple University's Center for Gifted Young Musicians and continued her studies at The Juilliard School.
