Personal Statement

Hi there! My name is Joe, and I'm a long-time guitar player with fifteen years of performance behind me. I would love to teach you or your child how to play guitar! I have taught music in the city public schools for several years now. I have also taught private lessons at several guitar studios and am capable of teaching various styles including (but not limited to): rock, classical, and blues. In addition to teaching the technical aspects of the guitar itself, I can also teach you music theory as I hold a college degree in music.

I am an active songwriter and performer in a rock band here in NYC. My website is:
www.joebenoit.com

If you're looking for a chance to learn guitar, and have fun while doing it---I'm your guy. I provide lessons in my apartment on the UES but can discuss with you the option of teaching in your home.

I look forward to hearing from you!
-Joe
