Personal Statement

I have taught, composed, and arranged music associated with all public school large and small ensembles, as well as with marching bands and drum and bugle corps accross the United States, Europe, and Japan. I have also taught private lessons on all wind and percussion instruments at all levels.

I work with students on the basics of musicianship and theory, through a combination of playing, discussion, listening, and written work. I design lesson plans that reflect the needs and desires of each individual student. This is done WITH the student.

Although I have indicated my specialties regarding instruments taught (above), I am able to work with others...just ask!

All levels of musicianship, age, and ability are welcome.

I can help you achieve your musical goals!
