Personal Statement
I don't just teach music and guitar,I teach people. I teach in an easy going, relaxed yet enthusiastic manner. I take into account a students learning style, motivations, musical interests and goals. I assess then craft a plan and individualize a curriculum to meet the students personal goals.

I strike a balance between what a student wants to learn and the areas that should be learned by any musician. I do this through demonstration, backing tracks, recording, and written material.

I teach musical independence and self learning, tools that will carry you through your life-long musical journey.
Education / Training
I have studied guitar for thirty years. Some teachers I've studied with privately were Tom Izzo and Frank Macri of the Macri School of Music in Plainville CT.

I am an RGT certified instructor and received a teaching diploma in electric guitar - LCM(TD), from the London College of Music-Thames Valley University.

I completed a Specialist Certificate in Blues, Rock and Jazz from Berklee Music School and am also finishing my Master Guitar Certificate from Berklee as well.

I am considering taking lessons. Please contact me with further information. Thank you.
