Personal Statement

My students look forward to their weekly music lesson. I maintain a high rate of retention with students starting in fifth grade and continuing until they leave for college. My excellent teaching skills are seen by the success of my students who sit in Honors bands/orchestras in both Cuyahoga and Medina county. My private music students have auditioned and achieved status in the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony, the nationally known COYO (Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra), and consistantly receive music scholarships for both high schools and colleges. I strive for my students to become musical performers who do more than just play notes.
