The Broadway School of Music & the Arts is committed to enriching the cultural lives of people through high quality, community-based music instruction and diverse fine arts programming. The School offers forty-two weeks of on-site instruction in instrumental and vocal music as its core discipline, as well as group classes in music, dance and visual art. Group instrumental music classes are also provided to nearby public and parochial schools. Our highly qualified, dedicated instructors teach over 200 students of diverse backgrounds, ages six-senior adult, who are served by the school. Student and faculty recitals and concerts by guest artists are presented through the year. Ensemble playing opportunities include a Sax Ensemble. The school maintains an active presence in its historic urban neighborhood and collaborates when possible with nearby organizations, including churches, a settlement house, a substance abuse treatment program for ex-offenders, and a community development corporation. A community mural project is planned for 2004. The School’s financial aid program enables children of modest income working and poor families to have the opportunity to develop self-expression through the arts.

I am considering attending your workshop. Please contact me with further information. Thank you.
