Outstanding students and young professionals -- individuals and pre-formed ensembles -- join a renowned faculty of dedicated artist-teachers for an in-depth exploration of the rich chamber music literature. Over the course of five weeks they study and perform repertoire from the Baroque to the present day, in an intimate, inspiring, and uniquely supportive learning environment. Students and faculty perform together, in over 25 concerts in and around Putney, Vermont and at Amherst College's Buckley Recital Hall. The program's intense yet informal atmosphere features frequent performances of varied repertoire and fosters both musical and personal growth.
