Personal Statement
Kaleigh Michelle Wood offers affordable quality piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities. She has played piano for 13 years and has taught for the last 3 years. She is trained in heavily in classical and popular music, and has some jazz background as well. She also songwrites and arranges music. Along with piano, Kaleigh has a heavy musical theatre and acting background and also offers private voice and acting coaching upon request. She has studied in New York City at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and has performed all over the Chicagoland area. She was also a member of the Young People's Company at the Piven Theatre Workshop for 3 years and attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts.

Kaleigh teaches a unique method designed to fit each student's personality. This way, students are able to work at their own pace and learn the songs and styles they are interested in. Students not only learn by playing, but also by ear, sight, games, and more. Lessons can be set or scheduled session by session to meet your flexibility.
